'Tis the season, y'all! I'm loving this time of year. Our tree is up, lights are strung, the cinnamon candles are burning, and I've been loving all of the advent studies this year (sharing my favorites next week!) Today, I'm sharing what has been currently going on in our lives.. so many exciting things.. but first, I wanted to let you in on
our rebranding process!
This Monday, Dec. 7th, the new blog will go live! Remember, Hot Tea and the Empty Seat will have a new name and a refreshed purpose! I AM SO EXCITED, YOU GUYS. Now, bear with me since this is the first time ever doing this and I'll be changing all of my social media handles + all of that fun on Monday as well!
Come by and check it out and don't forget to subscribe! I am so excited for this big change and I can't tell you how much love and effort has gone into the process. Audrey White over at Whimsical Wanderings (the mastermind behind my rebranding process) has been such a sweet friend to work with. She is the bee's knees!
wishing // it was Thursday already (a long weekend for us!) my hubby is taking me on a little getaway before baby comes in February!
remembering // not much these days since preggo-brain is in full force, haha! On a serious note, I am remembering all the fun the holidays bring but the real reason we celebrate.. our King laying aside His glory and coming to earth in human skin to be our Redeemer and Savior of the world! What a reason to celebrate!
wrapping // family Christmas gifts!!! we are totally on top of gifts this year and we only have a few more left to purchase! also wrapping baby shower gifts for my sister in law.. I LOVE wrapping presents! I also pour hot cocoa and put on Elf or some Frank Sinatra!
baking // Christmas cookies for the neighbors should be taking up the oven in a few weeks! I am a bit behind on holiday baking... Our baby shower is in just two weeks so helping to plan that has definitely taken precedence over the holidays but I'm totally okay with that!
decorating // our Christmas tree was up before Thanksgiving (holla!) and today, I bought a huge bag full of Christmas décor from a friend so I am super excited to get it all out and around the home! I feel like our home is the most "homey" during this season and I seriously love it! I may even have a home tour in the future :)
What are you currently up to this Christmas season?
