Let's Do Coffee // Friday Faves

I adore coffee dates. There is something magical that happens over coffee with a friend. That friendship grows & flourishes and somehow, so much wisdom comes from sipping hot coffee with another. When someone asks me to get together somewhere, I am always hoping it's at a coffee shop!
Let's pretend we are sitting together over coffee. I want to know how you are really doing. The truth. Here are a few of my highs + lows in my life and I hope you share a little bit about how your life is going as well.
+ My photography business is flourishing & my amazing husband just bought me my dream camera. I feel like a kid again, checking the mail... everyday. If you are in or around the TN region and would love a photographer, send me a quick email & let's get together!
+ My husband and I, with our friends Nick & Jaimie, are hosting our first annual Christmas celebration this December so I have been pinning & brainstorming all week. It has put me right into the Christmas Spirit! I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet but I say bring on the reindeer & hot cocoa!
+ I've gotten to know so many new people through this blogging world, specifically through a new Link Up that I am co-hosting every Thursday! We share the who, what, when, & where's of our thankfulness! I would love it if you stopped by next Thursday and linked up with us!
+ Last night, my husband and I met up with our friends, Tim & Jessica, along with two women who have a ministry that feeds and helps homeless people here in our town. We walked through woods & under bridges delivering food, hugging necks, and praying for warmth on the cold nights. It brought so much joy to my heart talking with and listening to those men who are struggling to survive. They were all SO kind, thankful, and personable and it convicted my heart in many ways. We can't wait to go back next week!
+ I haven't been diligent in my quiet time with God this week like I should/want/need to be. It makes me feel awful, honestly. It's too easy to put other things, even good things, in front of our relationship with God. But those other things never satisfy. They never give me strength and peace like my intentional time with the Giver of all good things. I really need to repent & move forward.
How are you, my friend? I would love to pray for you. Please let me know in the comment section below how I can lift you up in prayer. Blessings!
Linking up with sweet Jenna for another installment of Coffee Date & my Friday People.
